Signing Santa 2007, Barton Creek Mall, November 13, 2007

Many thanks to everyone who came out to Barton Creek Mall and participated in North Austin Optimist's Annual Signing Santa event! WHAT A HUGE SUCCESS! This event just keeps getting bigger and bigger each year!

Many kuddos to all our volunteers who helped organize this big event - especially to Diana Melcer - and Santa's elves.... Bev, Sandra, Theresa, Gray, Darlene, Dorman, Roy & Olga! Thanks to our JOOI kids for helping out also! And a huge thanks to Delwood NE Optimist for their monetary donation to help defray some of the expense of putting on this huge project!  Lastly, we'd like to thank the wonderful photographer who donated his time and services to this great cause - Mr. Karl Gruhlkey (and his Mom).  THANKS!!

Parents were so appreciative of what we were doing for their children. They couldn't thank us enough. What a joy it was to see members of the deaf choir perform Christmas carols "in their own language"!

This most definitely was a rewarding experience for all who attended!
